Seemingly trifle, but it is a huge technological innovation in the field of thermosublimation photo printing.

:: Another innovation is a Ribbon Rewind function, which means you don't need to stock many types of media while producing a wide range of photo formats - from 10x20, through standard and square to panoramic 20x55 and 20x80 cm.

:: Newly there are also two photo finishes (Luster and Fine Matte), in total there are available four different types of surfaces, which can be made by printer thanks to the laminace layer of ribbon. Even there the possibilities of laminace layer do not end -  the DS820 printer is capable of melting the matte surface on a certain spot and on the rest of the photo make a glossy surface.
