Variable gradation paper contrast control filter kits are supplied in a circular design under the lens. They contain 12 filters that are numbered from 0 to 5 in 0.5 increments. The number 5 corresponds to the highest contrast, 00 is the softest. When changing the contrast it is not necessary to think too much about changing the exposure all filters from 00 to 3,5 have the same exposure, filters from 4 to 5 exactly double.
