The FOREMAN PRO XLD generation
The new generation of hunting binoculars FOMEI FOREMAN PRO XLD has been developed with a focus on maximum performance when observing at dusk, in twilight or in difficult light conditions. Its main advantages are excellent handling and the light performance of the optical system.
The 8x52 FOREMAN PRO XLD binoculars combine excellent optical properties with ideal size and weight. This makes them a suitable companion for observation by day and at dusk.
HTC and DEC anti-reflective coatings
FOREMAN PRO XLD binoculars are manufactured using materials of the highest quality. All objective and eyepiece lenses are provided with special HTC (High Transmission Coating) anti-reflective coatings. The prisms are treated with DEC (Dielectric Coating) layers. The combination of HTC / DEC anti-reflective coatings ensures maximum transmission of the entire optical system. The binoculars excel in high edge sharpness and maximum overall light transmission. Thanks to their excellent light transmission they make use of "residual light", so they are also suitable for night observation of game, the sky, etc. Where the human eye sees only a black shadow, details are still visible through FOMEI FOREMAN binoculars.
FOREMAN uses phase coatings
In binoculars with roof prisms, a phase shift occurs when light is refracted. The reflected light is thus partially polarised and interference can occur. As a result, “optical performance” and “optical resolution” are lost. This is most noticeable in binoculars with high magnification and a disproportionately small objective (small pupil). This effect can be significantly reduced by applying special coatings to the prisms – PHASE COATINGS. The resulting image – with markedly better contrast and optical resolution – is far better and comparable to binoculars equipped with Porro prisms.
Robust waterproof body
The body of the binoculars is filled with dry nitrogen, which prevents internal fogging during sudden temperature changes and also ensures its water resistance (WATERPROOF). The robust construction of the FOREMAN PRO XLD binoculars broadens the range of possible uses. The diameter of the front lenses (objective) of 52mm, combined with the materials and technologies used, offers excellent optical properties while keeping the weight low and the dimensions compact.
The interpupillary distance range of the FOREMAN PRO XLD binoculars is 64-76mm.

The binocular FOMEI FOREMAN and LEADER PRO ED are under warranty for 5 years.
Each binocular FOMEI undergoes by individual output control and adjustment at a special workplace in Hradec Králové. This guarantees the functionality and quality of the supplied optical devices.
The Service department also performs warranty and after-warranty service of FOMEI optics which is provided for the whole lifetime of the device. The FOMEI service is also equipped with technology for refilling with inert gas.
