That's exactly what this sleeve is for. At first glance, it appears that the black sleeve already contains a reflective frame in the basic package, but this has a different fabric on the other side so that the other side can reflect light back to the source or into the scene. This separate sleeve is black on both sides and is used to create and highlight shadows or shield light where you don't want it. You can also create dark highlights in shiny objects to enhance the spatial effect in your photo or video.
