Mounting on a day optic is very quick, using this adapter the thermal sight in the form of a foregrip holds the rifle scope's sight picture and no further adjustment is required.
The marking of the riflescope does not correspond to the size of the outer diameter of the lens! (For example, for the FOMEI 1.7-10x42 FOREMAN riflescope you need a 50mm socket, not 42mm.)
This socket is two-piece. It comes in a kit with a reduction ring to connect the socket to the device.
