The corrugated cardboard of these boxes is made of acid-free, age-resistant archival cardboard that meets the requirements of DIN 6738, ISO 9706 and ISO 16245. The boxes are thus intended for the long-term protection of valuable art treasures and documents against light, dust and atmospheric influences.
The box for DIN A4 format is made of corrugated cardboard with a thickness of 1.6 mm, referred to as E-wave (microwave). For other sizes up to the DIN A2 internal format, corrugated board of classification B (fine wool) with a wave height of 3 mm is used. The outside of the box is done in dove grey, the waves and the inside are naturally white.
