The FOMEI 25×100 OBSERVER III is a permanently installed, stand-mounted observation telescope designed for long-term use
in public spaces. It builds on previous generations of OBSERVER telescopes, which are currently in operation at
hundreds of scenic viewpoints across Central Europe.
The third generation introduces significant design improvements in durability and service life, along with higher
magnification for a more detailed view of distant objects.

OBSERVER III is designed for locations with permanent or seasonal operation, where hundreds to thousands of visitors pass through each year:

25×100 optical system – detailed and stable image
The telescope is equipped with a fixed optical system featuring 25× magnification and a 100 mm objective lens diameter.
This configuration has long been proven as the ideal compromise between magnification, light-gathering capability and
image stability when used in publicly accessible locations.
The result is:
- a bright and high-contrast image
- very good resolution of distant details
- observation with both eyes
Thanks to fixed focus, visitors do not need to adjust anything – the telescope is always ready for use.
Waterproof design filled with dry nitrogen
OBSERVER III is waterproof and filled with dry nitrogen, ensuring:
- protection against moisture and rain
- elimination of internal fogging of the optics
- stable image even during rapid temperature changes
This design is essential for reliable year-round outdoor operation.
New all-stainless-steel stand and base
A key innovation compared to the previous generation is the completely redesigned stand and base made of stainless steel.
