The protective case (cover) serves as a protection against weather conditions and mechanical damage to the binoculars outside of operating hours. It is recommended to equip the OBSERVER II binoculars with a protective cover especially in places exposed to severe weather conditions.
The cover is fitted with a safety lanyard to which a padlock can be applied (not included). The protective cover then also works as a preventive protection against vandals and makes it difficult to rob / damage the coin machine.
