Anti-reflective Coatings HTC and DEC
FOREMAN PRO XLD binoculars are manufactured using materials of the highest quality parameters. All objective and eyepiece lenses of the binoculars are equipped with special anti-reflective coatings **HTC** (High Transmission Coating). The binocular prisms are treated with **DEC** (Di-Electrical Coating). The combination of **HTC / DEC** anti-reflective coatings ensures maximum light transmission of the entire optical system. The binoculars excel in high edge-to-edge image sharpness and maximum overall light transmission. Due to their excellent light transmission, they utilize "residual light", making them suitable for night observation of game, the sky, etc. Where the human eye sees only a black shadow, details are visible when observing with FOMEI FOREMAN binoculars.
FOREMAN Utilizes Phase Coatings
In binoculars with roof prisms, a phase shift occurs during light refraction. The reflected light is thus partially polarized, and interference can occur. As a result, there is a loss of "optical performance" and "optical resolution". This is most noticeable in binoculars with high magnification and a disproportionately small objective lens (small exit pupil). A significant reduction of this phenomenon in prisms can be achieved by using special coatings – **PHASE COATINGS**. The resulting image – significantly better contrast and optical resolution – is much better and comparable to binoculars equipped with porro prisms.

The binocular body is filled with **dry nitrogen**, which prevents internal fogging during sudden temperature changes and also ensures its **water resistance** (**WATERPROOF**).
